Mayfair Pilates offers both Clinical and Fitness based Pilates. Clinical Pilates is a service that is bespoke to our clients individual pathologies and movement goals. Where as, Fitness based Pilates is for those clients who are looking for a good holistic workout and have well managed or no injuries.

Reformer Pilates Class 4:1

WHAT IS A REFORMER PILATES CLASS 4:1?
Your Pilates instructor will guide you through a 1 hour full body workout on our state of the art Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers. Your instructor will take into account any preferences about what you’d like to work on in the class as well as any minor injuries that you may have. There is a maximum of 4 participants in this class which means that all participants will get ample supervision and tactile correction during the class to ensure perfect form with every exercise.
WHO SHOULD DO A REFORMER PILATES CLASS 4:1?
Not sure if you are ready for a class? Book into a Pilates 1:1 first to get a feel for the equipment before you book into a class. Reformer classes are a brilliant way to work within a fun class setting. You will receive lots of personal attention within the class and this facilitates multiple ways to progress or challenge the individual or make things easier where necessary. The resistance of the reformers means there are literally thousands of ways to enjoy a full body workout. Any athlete wanting to improve their core and mobility or someone who struggles with back pain or the office athlete who wishes he was that little more mobile to make sitting easier all day.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A REFORMER PILATES CLASS 4:1?
Reformer pilates offers you multiple ways to achieve a full body workout. They are fantastic to help tone you to get that beach body or develop a seriously strong core and backside. It is designed to compliment your other training modalities and will help to prevent future injury as it improves the control of your joints.

Studio Circuit Pilates Class 4:1

What is A Circuit Pilates Class 4:1
This is a Fitness based class run by our expert Pilates Instructors where the class rotates around various different pieces of our PIlates equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Pilates arc and Core Align. You will use different types of equipment and be challenged with a limitless repertoire of exercises. There will be a maximum number of 4 people per class.
Who should do A Circuit Pilates Class 4:1
This class can cater for anyone either returning from injury or those wishing to progress their fitness and injury proof themselves. Due to the wide ranging repertoire you can be sure you will be progressed to your full potential.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A Circuit Pilates Class 4:1
This is a class that can seriously progress you from top to bottom. It is a full body workout with multiple ways to progress or challenge the individual and can be very exciting as you get to experience all the different pilates equipment.

CLINICAL CLASSES

Physio-led Clinical Pilates 4:1

What is a Physio-led Clinical Pilates 4:1
It’s just like a Pilates 1:1 or Physio-led exercise therapy session with less supervision. It is run by our Specialist Physiotherapists and has 4 clients that are led through a bespoke exercise session that addresses all that you need to be working on. You will be working on an individual program that your physiotherapist has designed for you based on your Assessment. You will be using a variety of the studio equipment. We will be able to track your progress using our Reassessment tools.
Who should do a Physio-led Clinical Pilates 4:1
Physio led 4:1 pilates sessions are designed for people who need that extra bit of supervision with their rehab program. They are excellent for progressing back from injury and anyone who wants to achieve a specific targeted goal like a bike race or 10km race. They can be very useful for Pre and post natal ladies who need closer eye watching over them.
